Roosevelt’s Bengal Tiger Restaurant moves across the street, remains delicious

The official grand opening isn’t until August 26, but that didn’t stop a steady stream of Roosevelt neighbors from attending the preview of the Bengal Tiger Restaurant in its new location last Tuesday night.

Krittika’s Noodles on 65th to become “Bangkok Street”

Krittika’s on 65th Street is under new management and will be changing its name to “Bangkok Street” in the near future. The staff at the restaurant told us that there will be slight tweaks to the menu to provide a “Thai street food” experience.

Jalisco closes its doors for good

Over the weekend, ‘For Rent’ signs went up in the windows at Jalisco Mexican Restaurant and Taqueria on NE 65th and 12th NE, replacing the signs claiming they were closed for kitchen remodeling.

Is Jalisco on NE 65th closed for good?

Looks like Jalisco on NE 65th Street may be closed for a bit longer than we previously thought. We’re checking into it and will let you know what we find out.

Same owner as Krittika in Green Lake, but different chef, therefore different food. However, this place fits the bill for good Thai food within Roosevelt’s central business area. Walking distance, outside seating, and decent Thai iced tea. Score!
