Eckstein Middle School and Roosevelt High School both took home awards from the Reno Jazz Festival, held this past weekend at the University of Nevada.

Eckstein Middle School science teacher, Jessica Levine, was featured on The Teaching Channel, a national non-profit organization that showcases videos on effective teaching practices and great lesson ideas.
A bus driver was attacked by two dogs this morning while walking the track at Eckstein Middle School. The school was temporarily placed on lockdown while police officers caught the dogs.

Just a reminder that all Seattle Public Schools will dismiss students two hours early on Wednesday, February 2. From a hyperlocal perspective, this means that Roosevelt High School and Eckstein Middle School will dismiss at 12:35 p.m. and Green Lake Elementary School will let students out at 1:30 p.m.
