According to the Seattle Police Department’s blog, two suspects are still at large after robbing a business in the 5000 block of Roosevelt Way NE early in the morning on Monday, January 30.

Today, the Seattle City Council voted on the Roosevelt Residential Urban Village rezone. The vote was 7-2 in favor of the plan, which will allow for building heights of up to 65 feet in front of RHS. Counilmembers Bruce Harrell and Jean Godden were the dissenting votes.
Dog attack prompts lockdown at Eckstein Middle School (UPDATES)

A bus driver was attacked by two dogs this morning while walking the track at Eckstein Middle School. The school was temporarily placed on lockdown while police officers caught the dogs.

We’re seeing snow showers in Roosevelt this morning, but it’s super icy out there right now. The City of Seattle is asking people to stay at home if they can at least until things warm up (although it sounds like it’s not going to get much higher than 34 degrees).
