Get back to cooking for us ASAP Pino! We love you and your yummy Italian dinners.

Hopefully Da Pino's is open in a couple of weeks. I don't know about anyone else living in Ravenna, but to me Pino brings some old school community back.

Help get him back on his feet! When he re-opens visit him to try one of his delicious pasta dinners, a glass of Chianti or buy some of his famous dry goods - I always have his tasty salami in my fridge for snacks and last minute guests!

See you soon Pino.

If I understand the history correctly, there was a proposal to increase the allowable heights in the blocks near the high school to 85', but that was rejected in favor of the lower 65' height in the final adopted amendments. So, in effect, that makes this vote -- at least for those blocks a compromise of sorts. I for one live in Ravenna and would welcome additional density on the blocks near the high school, but also along the main commercial strip in Ravenna. With more residents, our neighborhood will be able to support more local businesses that provide benefit to all of us. Far from being a "sacrifice," I think that additional density -- if designed well -- and with provisions for some dedicated affordable family housing, can be a benefit to the neighborhood. Thanks for the opportunity to comment. Let's continue to be involved to ensure that the growth happens in an attractive and sustainable way.

Increased density along transit corridors is good for the city AND our neighborhood. Kudos to the city council for looking out for ALL of Seattle's residents, and not just the ones who cry the loudest.

Where can we go to find out how each council member voted, and when they are up for re-election?
