Eat out tonight to benefit the University District Food Bank
Tonight is the 10th Annual Neighborhood Grills Benefit Dinner for the University District Food Bank at the Greenlake Bar & Grill and the Eastlake Bar & Grill. Up to 60% of your bill will be donated to the food bank to help defray costs of purchasing food.

Family-friendly cartoon matinees this weekend at the Grand Illusion
The Grand Illusion Cinema in the University District (but just a short walk from the south end of Roosevelt) is hosting film historian and archivist (and former Seattleite) Dennis Nyback for a weeklong “History of Animation” program.
