Happy New Year, neighbors! This week’s photo should be easy for those of you who wander the ‘hood on foot. If you only make it around by car, however, you might miss this artistic treasure.
We are covering today’s Seattle City Council Committee for the Built Environment (COBE) meeting with Ravenna Blog. The committee is expected to vote on the proposed Roosevelt Legislative Rezone plan, which is first on the agenda. The meeting (and live coverage) starts at 10:30 a.m.

We visited Roosevelt’s own Eight Bells Winery for their Memorial Day tasting event. If you missed this one, you can visit them again for a pouring on June 4 and 5, 2011.

Through their new blog launched last week, Lake and Company Realtors Glenn Roberts and Marjie Cunningham are encouraging people to shop at local businesses in Roosevelt and Ravenna.
