This is the week to come to the Roosevelt High School Theater and catch some truly amazing Jazz groups performing their final concerts of the year.
Jazz Band II and Jazz Band III start out the concert series with a performance on Wednesday, June 6th at 7:30 p.m.
Jazz Band I, just back from their 2nd place finish at Essentially Ellington in NYC, plays their final concert in Seattle, Friday June 8th at 7:30 p.m., before heading out on a tour of Europe this summer including performances at the Montreux and Umbria Jazz festivals.
Vocal Jazz finishes up the concert season on Saturday, June 9th at 7:30 p.m. with their year end concert and vocal show case.

If you can’t make the concerts, you can at least pick up a recording. Roosevelt Jazz has just released “Live in Umbria 2010,” available at CD Baby, on iTunes, and in their own music store on Facebook. This album was recorded during the band’s 2010 tour of Italy.
