When we went to bed last night, you could hear the machinery cranking away on Ravenna Boulevard. Video below (thrill to the excitement of the street sweeper throwing a layer of dust over your intrepid neighborhood reporter!)
When we woke up this morning, the eastbound lanes from NE 65th Street to just past the Ravenna Blvd. exit were paved. Since I never saw any actual construction crews, I can only assume that the paving was completed by NEIGHBORHOOD ELVES.
PROOF:
New curbs, sidewalk ramps, and drain fixtures have been installed up and down the Boulevard, and once the rain lets up, the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) will finish paving the eastbound and westbound lanes.
