Even though all weather forecasts claimed Thursday would see the start of the warming trend, the temps in Roosevelt never got above 30 degrees and it snowed all day long. In the south end of Roosevelt today, we got almost another 2 inches of the white stuff. And since school was out today, Cowen Park packed with sledders, skiers, and those just wanting to roll around in the snow.

Now the good news for kids of all ages: Seattle Public Schools, and the University of Washington Seattle and UW Bothell campuses will all be closed on Friday, January 20. Enjoy the rest of your 5-day weekend!
