5:00 p.m.: Standoff has ended. Police have a woman in custody. Expect traffic to be snarled for a bit. Avoid the 65th and Roosevelt Way area if you can.
4:25 p.m.: Traffic issues in Roosevelt due to police standoff. Routes 48, 64, 73 & 76 are being rerouted. Check with Metro to find out how your route may be affected.

2:52 p.m.: Police have shut down NE 65th Street between 9th NE and Roosevelt Way according to Seattle Crime. Neighbor @balancedmama reports seeing 6 swat members total. There are several swat vehicles in the Shell Gas Station at NE 65th and 8th NE.
2:40 p.m.: There is a standoff right now between police and a woman who has barricaded herself inside her home at NE 65th and 9th NE in Roosevelt. The woman had earlier threatened to kill her boyfriend and was “tearing up the house,” according to the Seattle Times.
A neighbor reports that the boyfriend made it out of the house. Police are asking neighbors to stay in their homes and away from the scene, as the woman is believed to have access to firearms and other weapons.
